Stivo Simple Boy proved style is more than designer labels after winning Most Fashionable Inspirational Personality at the second Grand Fashion Awards, joining 39 other winners celebrated across Kenya’s fashion scene.

The awards spotlighted everyone from runway royalty to digital style stars. WizMario claimed Fashion Designer of the Year, while social media favourite Diana Mishjune won Most Fashionable YouTube Personality and TikTok’s Rhoda Wayua took her category.

Modeling had its moment with The Next Denis and Judoo Sonali winning runway categories, while Mr Xabib and Mercy Kay dominated commercial modeling. Campus fashion got its shine too, with Banny from KCA University taking Campus Model of the Year.

The beauty squad came through strong. Glam by Kez won Makeup Artist, Bram the Colorist snatched Hairstylist and Charlo the Barber took his category. Rakeeri Wigs won Wig Store while Turubai Beauty Bar claimed Nail Salon of the Year.

TV personality Caren Kibett won her category while Hiltrude Domtilde took Most Fashionable Female Instagram Personality. Claudia Naisabwa won Female MC and Africanah Rapudo was named Most Fashionable Celebrity Kid.

Looks like Avido won Fashion Clothline of the year whereas Zannetti Gent’s Fashion took home Fashion Shop of the year. Karembo’s Closet claimed Thrift Store of the Year. Little Finta won Baby Fashion Shop of the year.

Raila Odinga received a Lifetime Achievement Award while Terry Mungai and Saitoti Maitemai got Special Recognition Awards for their industry contributions.

Other winners included Kanazie Tcha for Fashion Stylist, June By Design for Wedding Designer, Purely Brass Africa for Accessories Designer and Mr Ochola for Fashion Photographer.
