Nairobi’s Railway Museum came alive with electronic beats on October 10th when Gondwana x Bakone threw their second big music party, bringing together more than 20 DJs from Kenya and South Africa.

Big names like South Africa’s Da Capo headlined the show, while local favorites including Suraj, BIG NYAGZ, FooZak, Gathoni, Thami the Unknown and Vidza kept the crowd moving.

Other exciting performances came from Aahil B2B Dylans Bby on The Island stage and Hiribae B2B Paps, showing off the best of what Nairobi’s electronic music scene has to offer.

The Railway Museum’s old industrial look made for a cool setting, different from your usual club night. With two stages running, people could move around and catch different DJs throughout the event without missing a beat.

This second edition shows that Nairobi is becoming a serious spot for electronic music in Africa. By bringing together DJs from Kenya and South Africa, Gondwana x Bakone is helping to connect music scenes across the continent.

Premium tequila brand Don Julio came on board as the official drinks partner.

The success of this second event proves there’s a real hunger for quality electronic music experiences in Nairobi.
