MultiChoice Kenya announces comprehensive coverage of Europe’s top football leagues for 2025/26 season

Kenyan football fans will have access to comprehensive coverage of Europe’s premier football competitions when the 2025/26 season kicks off this weekend, with MultiChoice Kenya confirming that all three major leagues will be available across its platforms.

The Premier League, La Liga and Serie A matches will be broadcast live on DStv, GOtv and streaming service Showmax through SuperSport channels, giving Kenyan viewers access to over 980 matches throughout the season.

 The new football season begins on August 15 with Liverpool hosting AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League opener at 21:00 East Africa Time, followed by La Liga on August 15-16 with defending champions Barcelona visiting Mallorca, while Serie A commences on August 23 with Napoli taking on Sassuolo.

SuperSport will broadcast 380 Premier League matches on its dedicated channel, while La Liga will feature over 300 games and Serie A coverage will also exceed 300 matches. The coverage extends beyond league matches to include major cup competitions such as the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League matches.

We will continue to deliver world-class action to fans wherever they are and however they choose to enjoy the game, whether on television at home or on their mobile phones on the go,” said Nzola Miranda, MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director.

The upcoming season promises intense competition with Liverpool entering as defending Premier League champions, while Real Madrid seeks to reclaim their La Liga crown from Barcelona and Napoli attempts to defend their Serie A title.

SuperSport will also continue broadcasting African football through the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and the Betway Premiership, with subscribers accessing matches based on their specific package tiers across the different platforms.
